Fort Gordon 2018 Timeline

I agree, that’s one of the most important facets of this process.

Well, I called in to check on my process and it looks like the same thing happened to me, they found an issue and wanted more information on it. They made the request in March, right after I was submitted for ratings, but nothing moved since.

On the bright side, it’s better to get it right now rather than later
Well I received my unfit memo last Friday, and saw that my packet was at SeaTac, so that put into better perspective so I could kind of track my packet using the Monday Morning Reports and trying to make more precise calls to the Regional Office there.

It's about time!!!!
Hopefully you hear something soon!
Thanks, yea hopefully they got everything they needed to make an accurate decision!

Is there a way to find out proposed ratings before the 199?

From what I’ve been told is your PEBLO can see your proposed ratings from the VA just not the DOD

Probably means going through the MSC

Possibly, now it goes back to the PEB if not mistaken, and then I probably will have another fight on my hands, but it's at least one thing down.

Congrats! Finally the wait is over.

24 June 2019 - 199 received 10% DOD / 90% VA proposed.

As this is far greater than I expected from the VA, I will be contesting the V Cosing assigned. The PEB recognizes the injury occurred in Iraq but states they cannot definitively state that it caused the injury nor can they plausibly deny it. Therefore I am requesting a formal board for the V4 coding to be overturned

I am going through the IDES process and was deemed unfit on 24 June 2019. I logged into va.gov and saw this just now. What does this mean? What happens now?

Wow! Your case closed in three days. Congrats, now you just have to wait for PEB to send your 199 to peblo.

Does that normally take long? After my 199 comes back what happens?
I got my 199 six days after my case closed on va.gov. If you don’t appeal what is on your 199 then you will move to the transitional phase of the process.

Correct what LIB said, I would take your 199 to Legal to have them explain to you what it means before you sign it, I am taking mine even though I know I will be contesting it from the DOD side (not for ratings but for the V codes)

Does that normally take long? After my 199 comes back what happens?

Good luck with your appeal process.

Thank you, hopefully all goes well I believe I should get this fixed, who knows worst thing that can happen is they say no.
