Just my experiance so far with the Ft. Rucker IDES. I've been told that this is going very quickly but I haven't seen that yet. I started this whole thing back in January 2011 only to be switched to the new system in June.
Since the new process.
Took my paperwork to VA in July 2011
Started Physicals 10 August
Finished Physicals 16 August
Waited for the NARSUM till 20 September
Finally signed 22 September
Sent to San Antonio 1 October
Recieved the UNFIT 8 October
Sent to VA for Rating 11 October
Preliminary Ratings completed 10 November
Still waiting on word of anything else and nothing else to do or anyone to talk to in order to speed this up any.
Frustration is an understatement and almost out of leave to go visit my family which we moved when this process started since we were told it would only take 180 Days. Big mistake cause now I'm keeping up two houses and all the expenses with no end in sight.
