Great news for burn put victims - maybe

I just recently learned about the burn pit registry and I'm working to get registered. I had my first ever asthma attack after I returned from a deployment in Iraq where I was running outside 3-4 times a week, four miles at a time. I was feeling pretty good after the deployment as I had dropped my run time for the 1.5 mile test down to 9:52. There was most certainly a burn pit nearby as I could see (and smell) the smoke from it.

Chaplain Charlie- after seeing your post here thought would post this here as well. I was at FOB Palowida right up MSR from Balad- LSA Anaconda- burn pit myself from above article at from your post above:

"I say maybe because I expect an appeal.

As might be a similar circumstance for those "current and former" US Service Members suffering "toxic-exposure" from, among other's, Fort MCClellan Alabama, Camp LeJune NC, etc... SEE-the March 2018 "The American Legion Magazine" and article on Fort McClellan, Alabama, titled "Fort McClellan'sToxic Legacy" can be found at:

http://pebforum.com/threads/america...syndrome-or-wriisc-wash-dc.43218/#post-199682

Did you put in a claim with VA for "Toxic Exposure" with the US DVA Chaplain Charlie? I am asking, as at some point, it is in fact "counter" productive to file a new claim with US DVA once a veteran, etc... reaches a certain rating level like 100%, P&T, or even Individual Un-employability or I/U! WHAT ARE YOUR OR ANY OTHER SUPER MODERATOR"s THOUGHT's ON THIS ISSUE?

Thanks Chaplain Charlie....???????????

I- thought would post here as well. Those "suffering" chemical exposures etc... might actually find attendance, (if one can obtain it?) , at one of the US DVA's Three X War Related Illness And Injury Center's (WRIISC) highly benefical???? See attached: "JRRD Volume 53, Number 6, 2016Pages 781–796 The influence of physical and mental health symptoms on Veterans’ functional health status" from/at: https://www.rehab.research.va.gov/jour/2016/536/pdf/jrrd-2015-07-0146.pdf

(Other two attachments in "bold" Blue Below)

Also might find post to Tony292, with other associated resources..beneficial in dealing with this situation...etc... see below from: http://pebforum.com/threads/help-to-stop-drinking.43113/

Tony292- thought this might assist you as well on page 14 and pages 24-25 of MHG_English.pdf or "Guide to VA MentAl HeAltH SerViceS for Veterans & Families" in this US DVA Pamphlet describes the type of care you can get for this "problem" if you so desire through the US DVA....

Darby009- since new to the US DVA thought I would attache some files thought you might find interesting:

1) history_in_brief.pdf Is History of the US DVA from the US DVA itself at: https://www.va.gov/opa/publications/archives/docs/history_in_brief.pdf Can also be found at:https://www.va.gov/about_va/vahistory.asp

2) MHG_English.pdf Is about Mental Health Services provided by the US DVA at: https://www.mentalhealth.va.gov/docs/MHG_English.pdf

3) Fact_Sheet-Emergent_Mental_Health_Care_Former_Service_Members.pdf Is about Service Members Other Than Honorable Discharge (OTH) aT: https://www.mentalhealth.va.gov/doc...Mental_Health_Care_Former_Service_Members.pdf

4) IntegratedEthics.pdf Is about ethics at: https://www.biloxi.va.gov/IntegratedEthics.pdf

5) Factsheet.pdf Is about Gulf Coast VA System at: https://www.biloxi.va.gov/about/Factsheet.pdf

Interesting, that on page 15 of MHG_English.pdf or "Guide to VA MentAl HeAltH SerViceS for Veterans & Families" it states "Even though these mental health problems do not occur as often as substance abuse, PTSD, and depression, they can be especially disabling."

So, given the above, why is it that so many veterans are in fact diagnosed "Bi-polar" which can mimic PTSD, or "schizo-disorder's and/or "personality" disorders, or affected by "highly-adverse" reactions psycho-tropic" medications (first check MH Providers Supposed to Make)? Simply for others to ponder?????

Darby009- hope this, and in particular, "attached files" assist's you as well as other's...... please let me know if not????

I as well as other's also signed up US DVA "Burn-PIT" Registery and at WRIISC, Washington DC, was advised to sign up for "airborne Hazard's" as well- but honestly, do not know what ifa any good it in fact has done any US Veteran, I am aware of "whom" have in fact signed up and went thought a'' the "poodle" hoops associated with it......

Therefore, I am attaching the below "not" as an "advertisement/ endorsement" but simply because of the numerous fact's in contains (in one place)... very good summary of whole "gambit" of issue's facing the "New" Generation of "War-Experienced" veterans.... it is from "Coalition to Salute America's Hero's,"...etc.....

Personally, have witnessed to much of the "facts" contained in attachment and highlighted, and if does not significantly "upset" folks I simply do not know what ever will....

Furthermore, per another "source" in "civilian" medical community, they have noticed it takes on "average" 10-years for a US "veteran" to get rated "100-Percent" disabled, when most likely they should have been from the very outset......

Perhaps some of the fact's in attached will draw attention not only to this issue but a whole host of other's as well......

Thanks and hope this assist's others.....

ChaplainCharlie- hope your "appeal" works out on this issue, and as per quate's above simply was hoping for response. Hopefully, you nor anyone else has same "complications" as I do regarding this as it is beyond horrid and if so as per your quote "above" perhaps is "good-news" and those afflicted can get "service-connected" so can get treatment and other essential benefits to defray cost of the required "treatment's of some of the "conditions" caused by toxic exposure.....

Sent below via MHV Secure MSG- as personally I am simply exasperated, with what I am forced to do- in order to protect both myself and hopefully other's afflicted because of this:

Dr. Sc (MOPC [AL] Prim. Care [PC]) Only-Perhaps Something US DVA Can Do Assit My Allergy Issue's?????

Dr. S (CC: Dr. /LP/Dr. K)I am simply exasperated. I know you worked Bureau Indian Affairs before VA, so you would know the US DVA deals with every Federal/State and local goverment agency every second of every minute of the day!

Was in [Fa____], AL [Store-Big Box] this morning, and yet again overcome by improper utilization of [Store-Big Box] supposed Eco Friendly cleaning products. I got home an had wipe myself down "hypo-alerginic" skin wipes, take Allegra, Predisnoe and Alavert as per my Allergist Dr. for emergencies.

I have complaine [Store-Big Box] Corporate, numerous times, to store middle- and Senior Management etc... and nothing changes!!! They even utilize outdoor leaf blower to blow dust and everything else all around store!!!!

Oddly, when the [Store-Big Box]utilizes Eco Friendly cleaning products correctly, do not have these issues- as have been in store numerous times this is the case-cleaning- and no issues other than with products that should bother me!

As I told 3-supervisor's this morning it is hard to maintain standards of any type when have "bebe's" kids, a term my 1SG coined for all misfits we were given in [___], on the Clock/Job- so to speak! One of these Supervisor's is gentlemen named [_Mr____], and is in fact ex-Va Nurse from up around [Birm___] Alabama- and as I told him- if in fact I do go into "anaphylactic shock- as you yourself stated, [Dr.____], then I will simply have very good case against [Store-Big Box]. My allergist even treats patients who have had similar isuues as me with things in [Store-Big Box]and other Retail stores!!!!!

I have tried my best to prevent it coming to the above, but nothing I say nor due seems to get "through". Even had elderish-"white-haired" gentlemen behind me in line at [Rapid Checkout] checkout, place something on check-out ramp that stirred something in air and made my situation worse. Oddly, looked angry as heck, and stared at me in parking lot before getting in red truck- blue topper. Asked him if could "help him/you" said no and as drove past me gave "thumps-up!" signal...bizarre

Bottom-line: Is there anything the US DVA can do, like contact [Store-Big Box] Corporate and assist not only me but perhaps other vet's with this condition due to their service in the never ending "Global War on Terror" or is it too much of a "Cash Cow" so to speak for a Federal Agency to simply get involved of the welfare of this "Nations" veteran's.......?????

Thanks [Dr_____]-in advance, and hope something you and/or US DVA can do....look forward to heard back from you directly....????

Honestly, really expect no "assistance" US DVA, although it does not hurt to "attempt" it!??????

This is same reason I was forced to Leave the SHARE Program in Atlanta Georgia, simply due to ex-VA employee not doing their assigned "job" or "duties" as discussed at PEBForum: (1) http://pebforum.com/threads/new-res...-atlanta-georgia-super-hot.42897/#post-199297 -New Resource "SHARE Program/Shepherd Center" Atlanta Georgia- Super Hot and (2) http://pebforum.com/threads/possibl...perience-than-myself.42787/page-2#post-199105 -Possible New Resource Vet's TBI- Perhaps Better Experience Than Myself as well as to Darby009 at: http://pebforum.com/threads/my-turn-for-guess-the-pts-ratings.42847/-My Turn For "Guess the PTS Ratings"

Well hope this all greatly assist's other's and hopefully some SuperModerator might in fact add some clarity here..... as to when it is simply not worth submitting anymore claims US DVA??????

Thanks

Well- was hoping to have had a response from either a Super Moderator or perhaps, even, Chaplain Charlie by now???? That is, unfortunately, in keeping I guess on this whole topic of US Veteran "environmental" hazard exposure- going I guess all way back to Vietnam and "Agent Orange," etc... and probably farther back than that- perhaps World War I were "chemical" munitions were in fact utilized "against" all US troops, etc.....

Dr. S, FYI- updated med list yet again that never gets update......see all below. Also, still have not heard back on anything can do [Local Bid Box Store] etc...with my "allergy" situation- as told Dr. ___ yesterday US DVA first "throw veteran under a bus" as quickly as possible to get them in all sorts of trouble slightest thing, but when a veteran asks US DVA Assist self-same organizations- turn veterans into for trouble that affects their entire lives- get no response and no help!!!!!!

What a wonderful system we US veterans in fact have...... guess US DVA, etc... has "its' cake and eats it too regardless of veteran concerns/ welfare, etc... as told Dr. Sera Cox yesterday her office.... Probably, same occurs US Indian Reservations you worked, where just about everything federal crime, etc... sadly...???

Thanks Dr. S hope to hear from you sometime soon ......

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Oddly, my US DVA primary care doctor, above, worked for US Bureau of Indian Affairs, and told me their "medical system" even worse than US DVA...... would like to say I am surprised, but can honestly say I am in fact not, as after all it is all US "socialized medicine" like US DVA - that I think most US veterans, etc... simply do not understand???????

Also, have never heard back on any "assistance" US DVA with my "allergy" issue and local "big-box" store, what so ever from US DVA at all- despite asking 3 x times now..... and US DVA working with every Federal, State and local agency out there on a minute by minute basis?????? Was just in said "big box" store again and "guess" utilized" outdoor "leaf blower" to spread dust around in the store, as left store with eyes watering, skin moderately burning, yet again.....

Also, discovered very "high" EMF-pollution this "big-box store" and my entire "local-area", which, among numerous other things, can cause medications that are not supposed to to "pass the blood-brain barrier" which oddly I have had occur as well to astonishment of US DVA medical personnel.......??????

Anyway-thought would post an update, and hopefully maybe someone will respond????

PS: Anyone else been chatised by US DVA for asking such questions as above per US DVA MHV Secure messaging.... with these issues????? (Also, every US VET either "wartime" service or "peacetime" has in fact most likely been exposed to "toxic" levels of EMF- Dirty Electricity, per the "various" systems utilzed by US Military/DOD- vehicle radios, "targeting systems" etc... or anything that utilizes mass amounts of electricity.... heck in HUMVEE, soldiers in rear sit right on top of "batteries" which, if to say the least hit by "ground implanted" IED cause all kinds of "secondary" to explosion injuries, but possibly "reproductive" issues, etc.....????!!!!! Has anyone ever "measured EMF coming off any of these system's or let alone batteries in HUMVEE's etc....?????)
