I'm AD TSgt 3E871, EOD with 20 years 11 months of service and 2 deployments to Afghanistan.

I've been being seen at the Fort Bliss TBI clinic for 1.5ish years to solve some cognitive issues, migraines, and vertigo related to proximity to IED blasts.

In the course of that, I was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease (inner ear related vertigo disease) and the migraines secondary to TBI from IED blasts.

August '24 - went to sick call, Dr told me he was referring me to AMRO for Meniere's Disease after reviewing records, which was unrelated to the visit.

10/17/24- Contacted by Physician's Assistant working on my case, met with her and answered a bunch of questions.

12/27/24- Code 37 applied, delayed to add Migraines as a referred condition (4 meds plus Botox).

1/13/24- Sign CIS, commander recommended do not retain, sent to PEBLO.

1/31/24- PEBLO contacted me stating a full MEB has been indicated. I was out of the office, got it today (monday).

2/4/24- In person with PEBLO scheduled.

Since you have 20+ years you have nothing to lose in this process. You will max out compensation! Good luck on your recovery and future after serving!

Interesting we both basically have the same issue(I additionally have nerve damage on my head from a surgery I never recovered from). Good luck!

Edit: so I was initially referred for the nerve damage but also got diagnosed with meniere's disease before my c&p exams and a TBI from an electrical explosion

2/4/24 - Meeting with PEBLO and finished SHA.

2/5/24 - Informed Dyess AFB never forwarded my paper medical records when I PCS'd, and they're needed before sending package to VA. Dyess stays screwing me 5 years later

2/12 - Records sent to VA by PEBLO

2/13 - MSC call, signed VA forms 21-526EZ and 21-4138 and got records from the local sleep clinic where I got my sleep study diagnosing sleep apnea and those as well.

I'm claiming 40 total conditions.

Some of my DBQ's are uploaded to TOL

3/21 - Echo Cardiogram scheduled (QTC called and said the provider wanted the additional information), I'm assuming the provider is holding the rest until results are in.

I realized I put some inaccurate year dates. Most of them are 2025, Dates December and before are 2024. I don't see an edit button anywhere to correct it. I'll do an all up summary when I get some reasonable movement.

Did the echo cardiogram today.
