How does it work when you're at a post with no WTU?

Our tiny WTU here closed down last year, so would I stay in my unit?

That would be bad. It is nearly impossible to make appointment now since in the land of staff I'm the "hand it to him" guy and constantly getting the "hey you" taskings. Is there any other programs for moving to a directorate or something where you have the time for all the follow ups?

Do you have work limitations/profile?

Have you sat down with your XO, Limited Duty coordinator, etc. and explained your situation? Some command's are very accommodating, while others not so much. Technically, when still on your unit/command's books even with a profile/limitations, they can be trumped by the command. However, it is a fine line they walk when they do. They should not be interfering with your medical care and appointments.
