Been lurking around these forums for a while now decided I should post mine for reference for those in the PNW.

03/17 Referred to IDES
03/24 Formal peblo and lawyer
04/3 VA INTAKE
04/24 FIRST EXAM
05/9 LAST EXAM
05/17 Va case in Rhode Island
06/1 NMA Complete
06/6 Case sent to PEB

I was fortunate enough to have a great lawyer and peblo. Now the waiting game begins, will post updates as they come. Hopefully separating before thanksgiving.

Damn dude. Your case started after my last c&p exam and I'm still waiting for an nma/case to be set to the PEB.

You are waiting for the NMA to be complete? or the case to be sent to DC via your peblo? My NMA was complete really fast because I went to my COC to ask about it they finished it within an hour.

Alot happened. The contractors never sent my exams to the VA, my peblo never reached out to me for atleast a month into the IDES process, they never sent my co the nma. Now that the va finally has my stuff, I'm assuredly not going to have the stuff sent back to me for signing in a timely manner. I'm at the 45 day bench mark and 180 days into the process.

Sounds like a disaster lol what base are you on. Different regions are much slower and lazy.

My case was also sent to Peb on June 6th. Have you heard anything yet? A coworker got her ratings about 6 weeks after being sent to Peb (received then 2 weeks ago). I'm hoping for a quick turnaround like that.

On June 21st I got notified on Mol that my case was accepted. Nothing else since then but I do know the VA is getting quicker with their cases. I’ll update when I get anything else.

I'm a civilian IDES attorney, a former Marine JAG IDES attorney at both FPEB and IPEB levels, and most recently a former Fed civilian FPEB counsel for the Department of the Navy. @Blowjanglez is correct, in that the speed at which things are processed ebbs and flows, depending on too many variables. All you can do is look at historical trends. That said, two huge factors are the number of claims and the complexity of each claim. Additionally, @dbog noted something that happens all too often: sometimes people don't do their job. Again, this would make two identical cases take drastically different lengths of time. Of course, there's nothing wrong with trying to get some insight into the timeline you're facing, the only pitfall is that any answer you get will be inherently flawed.

Update: Called VA hotline was told my case was in decision phase as of today.

update:
07/11 Case Currently in “decision phase”.
Will call VA Hotline back once a week for updates.

Update: Just checked the Va app case closed JULY 18th
A sigh of relief !!

As of today Still haven’t heard anything from PEBLO.
Haven't heard anything either. I called the VA again today and this person told me that my claim isn't closed yet. That instead of the 24 items I submitted for there are actually 31 and that everything is in the final stage. Said there is nothing to email me because it's not done even though the website states it is.

Kinda lost right now my case was closed 3 weeks ago and I still haven’t received a decision and findings.

this week will be 5 weeks since case was closed. I know getting in contact with the congressman could help but would there be any other way to know where the hell my case it at? Going to set up an appointment with the lawyer this week.

You could try calling the PEB directly. It’ll probably take a few calls but I did and they told me my case was on qa
