Is the Army Reserves as easy to get a waiver for as they say it is?

Right now my paperwork is going up to the Army waiver authority for approval. I dunno how good my chances are but I keep getting told that through the Army and this virus going on they’re desperate to fill up slots. Even easier if you’re going reserves. Is that necessarily true? I’m hoping I hear back soon. I really want this to work.

Your best source of contemporary information on that subject would be your recruiter.

I agree with Ron. The waiver approval rate waxes and wanes based on the needs of the service. Your recruiter should know what the current position on approvals by his/her service.

Military waivers can take from three weeks to three months to be approved. The time duration depends on a variety of factors, like medical waivers and moral waivers.
