Can anyone post their IDES timeline for reference?. I am trying to get an estimate for Italy or Europe in general.

Currently going through the IDES process in Germany. This is my current timeline.

Referred to MEB AUG 9 2024
P3 profile approved AUG 12 2024
Met PEBLO AUG 15 2024
All C&P exams (QTC) scheduled and completed SEP 19 2024
All DBQ's uploaded into Tricare online SEP 25 2024.


I am unsure when I will hear anything back. I believe my next step is the NARSUM, and I have no idea when that will be.

I have just sent my NARSUM back two weeks ago, up to this point everything moved pretty fast. But know the days are going so slow, I am anxious about the next steps but we will see.

I can keep you posted too, if you want.

Yes sir, would appreciate you if you can keep me updated on how things move on your end. How long after you finished the C&P exams did it take for you to get the NARSUM? Curious as to what your timeline has been.

I am also getting anxious during this process, but it's moving.

Hey I just started my process as well in Germany if you could update your process I’d appreciate that.
 
PEB phase determines you fit or unfit for service.
Fit = return to duty, no va ratings, no DoD ratings
Unfit= sent to VA for ratings, ratings come back, DoD assigns rating, DoD ratings determines medical retirement or separation, medical separation = severance pay, medical retirement = all retiree benefits

As of Yesterday, my case has been sent to the VA to determine ratings. The PEBLO and I assumed I was deemed UNFIT for duty
So lets say
OCT 23 Deemed UNFIT/Sent to VA for ratings

I am going to be following this thread and post my updates as well since my timeline is close to many of the people here. PEB ( JBSA) and VA ( Seattle ) are same for Army regardless where we are stationed.

Army. Fort Cavazos
Referred to MEB AUG 8 2024
Met PEBLO AUG 9 2024
All C&P exams completed SEP 23 2024
Received NARSUM OCT 4 2024
Signed NARSUM OCT 7 2024
Sent to PEB w/ expedited memo OCT 8 2024
 
AUG24 last C&P
SEP09 NARSUM
OCT23 sent to VA/deemed unfit
OCT25 VA case closed and determination letter sent

Does this mean you have received your proposed ratings? What is left to do? Glad to see things are moving!

OCT28 PEB received ratings from VA, waiting on proposed ratings.

Nah, brother. That just means the VA sent the ratings to the MEB and they'll decide if they stick with those ratings, increase them or lower them. The PEBLO said that there is a backlog so it is possible for this to take longer than usual. As I am looking at the IDES timeline, I might have another month and a half before I get a final out date.

Geez, yea things seem to be backed up in the PEB phase. Thanks for keeping us posted. I’ll continue to do the same as things progress

I thought the VA rating was used for the DOD rating.
