I'm a pretty bad advocate for myself and I'm nervous around doctors. I tend to "blank out" or lose my train of thought often. The fact that these appointments weigh heavily on my future doesn't help either.
I'm worried that I won't be able to articulate what problems I have and how they affect me. I want to bring notes on all the things I'm claiming, but I fear that it'll give the impression that it must not affect me much if I can't even remember it. I've printed off all of the DBQs to kind of anticipate what the doctor might ask. Would it be strange to look down at the DBQs/my notes when the examiner asks me questions?
If it matters, MEB is for major depression. Claiming a lot of other things like IBS, various joint pains, tinnitus, migraines, and sleep apnea.
