I'm trying to get an idea of when I should start putting in resumes for a new job. My MEB package was sent to the IPEB on 18 Jun 12. Should I just wait until im futher along in the process or start now?

p.s Im 100% sure that i'll be found unfit.

If I were you would have started "shopping" months ago, once the VA has your packet you should start actively putting in resumes. This way you can see trends on the job market and get all the counseling you need at ACAP and hit up Job Fairs to do mock interviews and such, then once you have a good idea of when you're getting out, you storm the market with resumes!

I agree with Grizz, and will add that you should try to harness your current resources and ask around your base/post about civilian, contractor or DoD job offerings. It's easier to get a job from people that are already aware of you and your performance. Even if continuing to work for the government (albeit as a civilian) isn't your dream job, you will have income while searching for it.
