Good morning, afternoon, or evening.

I am writing this because I believe I COULD be going through an MEB. I have A LOT of questions and believe that I am in the dark, and so this will be a good journal for anyone else potentially in my same shoes, potentially at a different base.

Brief overview:
- I have been on a profile for a year or so and have been EXTREMELY active with medical appointments. I have chronic pain and have been receiving treatment for the past 10 months. Treatment ranges from physical therapy to minimally invasive procedures (never been under the blade).
- I was recommended to do the IRILO (August), and my PCM pushed that; I don't know the results, however, I now have codes 37 and 42 on my profile, and the MEB box is indeed checked.
- My PCM said he submitted a NARSUM (August); however, neither my commander (CIS) nor PEBLO reached out.
- I still have more appointments that my PCM recommended to me.
- I don't know what the chief complaint will be for my MEB, either, by the way. I have a laundry list of issues, but I don't know the ones that will be submitted to the DOD for rating.

That all said, my PCM is absolutely amazing, and he is SUPER swamped. I reached out to the PEBLO on base, and they said that my PCM has quite a few MEB cases going through, which I don't know if that is good or bad... However, I am going to be added to that queue, and I'm ready to go!

Good morning all, here is my entire timeline in a presentable format:
PRE-IDES:
  • 05 Aug 2025 – Code 37/42 applied
  • 21 Aug 2025 – Spoke to doctor about IRILO.
  • 08 Dec 2025 – Code applied again, spoke about IRILO again
  • 15 Dec 2025 – NARSUM drafted
  • 18 Dec 2025 – CIS signed
  • 16 Jan 2026 – NARSUM Re-Drafted
  • 16 Jan 2026 – CIS Signed
  • 21 Jan 2026 – Notification that AFPC Downloaded my file. 2-4 week est response time.
  • 03 March 2026 – Bi-Weekly calls made to peblo for updates. Last call: 03 March 2026. (No updates)
 
I know for certain that, as of 3 March, AFPC was working IRILO's submit on 14 January. You're very close.

UPDATE:
  • 15 March 2026 – FL4 Notification.
    Today is Sunday but I took the liberty to fill out all the forms to the best of my ability and submitted them to my PEBLO.
 
UPDATE:
• 19 March 2026 – Sat down with PEBLO, elected IDES, signed docs, etc.
 
• 1 April 2026 – MSC initial call!!!!
I cannot wait to start these exams. I was told by my MSC that exams SHOULD start and finish within 30 days... I told her my research says otherwise, but I am hoping for the best haha.
 
• 2 April 2026 – VES call to set up account and learned about my first appointment. I will have 4~5 appointments.
 
• 8 April 2026 –
Both diagnostic appointments were rescheduled.
Dental appointment cancelled due to the provider not being in on that day.
General exam scheduled for the 14th.
