MEB after LOD?

I had some back issues after my last deployment, treatment during the deployment and all that...upon return I continued having back issues which I saw a private chiropractor for and that didn't resolve the issues. I mentioned that to my Reserve Med Squadron and they put my on an LOD and long story short is after everything and MRIs I had a bulged disk and pinched nerve, congenital shortening of a leg, etc......were they supposed to refer me for an MEB at that time since my back was not improving.

It has since graded even further since 2016 and I recently had updated MRIs confirmation the suspicions of my new chiropractor but my unit doesn't seem to care. I have also been waiting on the VA since June for a tele-call with a Mental Health professional to change the meds they have me on and perform a TBI/PTSD screening as well (finally this will be next week) and I don't know how the results of any of this could change things...If you have seen my other recent post, I'm being denied re-enlistment which I will appeal and then probably ultimately retire with my 20 instead of anyone helping me with these issues that I have been requesting for years with the Reserves but apparently nobody actually reviews your PHAQs anymore!!!

Thoughts?

So you have an LOD for your back with zero improvement and now years later its degraded to the point you can't serve? How close are you to retirement at the end of your current term of service?

Enroll in VA benefits at discharge, six months before separation. This will ensure any potentially unfitting conditions are medically documented, with percentages. Then you will know if you have a case. Not MEBing members is an ongoing problem.

beings I was in the Reserves I had been fighting the VA long since leaving AD and finally was awarded my 100% a couple years back

that is correct, I provided my most recent MRIs and they said my condition wasn't unfitting and refused up send my reconsideration request back up to SG for reevaluation. They ultimately waited until right before my ETS when I was supposed to reenlist and then involuntarily sent me into the IRR which then kept me from reenlisting so I had to retire (they did me really dirty)

Well that should now be covered by the va. Submit an intent to file and start becoming familiar with the rating process.
