It is going to be in the decision phase till your NARSUM is signed and submitted to PEB, hopefully, it get signed quickly cos It took 4 months for the Portsmouth MEBAA to sign my NArsum, if it wasn't for that I would've been done by now since Mar 2024.

So, I was submitted for MEDBOARD 14 August 24, my NARSUM wasn’t signed by MEBAA until 21 October 24. I’m just really worried because it’s the SAME mebaa who took so long to sign my NARSUM, that needs to sign off on my C&P Reconciliation to submit my case to PEB. I’m worried he’s going to take forever on this one as well.

If it is who I think it is then brace yourself or maybe I could be wrong and he's working faster, on his defense, the previous MEBAA kinda screw him over with months worth of unsigned cases but I hope it gets better for you.

I just DM’d you the name.

it’s been 12 days. no updates!
called the VA and they wouldn’t give me any info the moment they saw ‘IDES’
i’m caving only 12 days in ! lmao

I’m around the same time frame as you my case was submitted to peb 17 Jan so I’m on 5 weeks now almost and still no update

I had my case "submitted" (was not informed whether or not it has been accepted) on Jan 8th, and have been waiting for news ever since. It's been radio silence the entire time, but I'm taking advantage of this limbo period by participating in SkillBridge. Highly recommend to do it if you're a Marine because the policy states that we can if we're in the IDES process.

We are along the same time frame. Mine was submitted on the 16th. Hopefully we’ll hear something soon!

Jeff* lol and don’t call him until the VA claim has closed on the app.
Ah my bad! And weirdly, my VA app doesn’t say anything in the claims section. I’ve checked online as well. I’m assuming they’ll just pop up out of nowhere later down the line?

That’s correct. It wont show anything until the VA has made their decision for your proposed rating and closed it. It’ll show under Closed Claims. Then a couple of weeks after you should sign your DoD and VA findings.

My case closed on VA app 1 week ago I called and got my proposed rating. Just wondering if anyone knows when I sign my findings.
