Medical Retirement for Prior-Service Officer?

There is a rule where prior-commissioned officers who retire within 10 years of their commissioning revert to their previous enlisted rank when computing retirement pay. Does this rule also apply to medical retirement?

I have 7 years enlisted and 6 years commissioned officer service. I think I can make it at least a couple more years before I am forced into an MEB.

Thank you very much.
