Mental Health DBQ

I had a question about my Mental Health DBQ. I see a lot of people saying that if "Suicidal Ideation" is not checked, then there's a low chance of getting a 70%. Is there any truth in that?

My DBQ has Occupational and social impairment, with deficiencies in most areas, such as work, school, family relations, judgment, thinking, or mood

With two symptoms from the 70% category:

Obsessional rituals which interfere with routine activities
Difficulty in adapting to stressful circumstances (including work or a worklike setting)

Typically is the 3A box which determines it. Last one on the list is 100%. 2nd to last which was checked should be 70%. Good Luck!

According to eCFR "obsessional rituals which interfere with routine activities" falls in the 70% category. I'm hoping since I have two symptoms from that category and 3A box checked, the rater will go with 70%. The notes are very thorough too and indicate that my OCD rituals take up to 3-4 hours a day.

Concur with Provis. For my proposed ratings they used box 3A to rate me. My symptoms were lacking based on the examiner not checking the right boxes. On the proposed ratings explanation, the rater indicated that he found additional symptoms in my records and added them as well but it didn't matter. He rated on the assessment in box 3A.
