MST, Unspecified Anxiety

Hello all,

I have just started the IDES process and am looking for some feedback on potential outcomes. I experienced a MST event early in my career. I’ve been seeing psychiatrists, psychologists, and have completed an intensive outpatient 2 week program. I am still able to perform my job on the administrative aspect (Hospital Corpsman) due to my high dosage of meds helping me keep it together.
My question is: If my life is an absolute mess outside of work and I constantly have tremors and have been to the ER for panic attacks, will I likely be found fit?

Separating from the service will help me get recover I feel - putting on the uniform is a trigger. My legal counsel is iffy on which way it could go. She (counsel) agrees I should be unfit, but says the PEB May see that my ability to still do my job, be my crutch.
Has anyone else experienced the PEB with a referring condition of unspecified anxiety?

thank you.

I am sorry to hear about your assault. The C&P examiner will establish and independent diagnosis and assess your SOCIAL and OCCUPATIONAL functioning. The likelihood of being found unfit largely depends on the level of your social and occupational functioning as determined by the examiner. Be honest and forthright with him/her about your limitations, including your panic attacks and struggles at work and socially.

Best wishes as you continue therapy and proceed through the MEB/PEB process.

I am currently in the IDES process for anxiety panic attacks PTSD and was told it will most likely be found unfit and to prepare for that. I don't think anyone we talk to can give that answer because someone else is making the call in it. My package is National Guard bureau being reviewed. I have read on this forum that Navy will find more fit than other services. The Navy tends to not let service members med out as easy.
