Multiple/Contradicting X-rays & MRIs

Hello,

So I was medically retired late last year for back issues and sciatica. Part of my issue is my diagnosis with spondylolisthesis, dextro-scoliosis, and hypolordosis. These were all found and diagnosed on two separate occasions at a chiropractic facility with their X-rays; however, Navy medical, and the VA cannot find the spondylolisthesis and has diagnosed me with levo-scoliosis. I will have to go back for a re-evaluation next year, but with all of the different and contradicting findings, I don't know if it will go very well. Has anyone dealt with this before? If so, what did you do to fix it?

Thank you!

Contradictory professional opinions are not uncommon. X-rays and MRIs see different things. X-rays see bone best (or fluid in the lungs) while MRI is better at soft tissue.

I had two very different opinion regarding a particular medical test so I got a third opinion. It was different than the first two. It is hard sometime to get a correct diagnosis sometimes. It is an be very frustrating.
