NARSUM is on Friday

I am. I’m content with the severance check. I have a career lined up with great healthcare starting in June. I can’t risk that for tricare.
That’s the spirit, go for it and try to support your case with more evidence, I wish you the best brother

Congrats!
I received my proposed rating from the VA yesterday, I guess I wasn't supposed to and my PEBLO was supposed to get it first so I somehow slipped through the cracks, but that's the VA's fault according to my MSC.
I received 90% VA/20% DoD, I am in the same situation as you where I would rather deal with debt currently with that severance check. I think of it as an AER loan lol
When you say VA rating was completed on 07JAN, is that the proposed letter you got or the official one? My PEBLO has told me that he is still waiting on my DA 199 to come in so we can review it.
I got the proposed letter with my combined rating.
I didn’t get to see individual ratings until today when I went over paperwork with my PEBLO.

Okay I gotcha. Yeah my proposed rating letter was just my combined but when my MSC called me he was like I'll just tell you your army rating and I was like okay thanks lol

I don’t know who my MSC is. Lol

How long it took to receive the call from your MSC?
After I called the VA and got my ratings, I emailed him and like 10 minutes later he called me. My MSC has been pretty on point with responding quick and informative.
He explained that I wasn't supposed to get my ratings from the VA directly but it wasn't my fault.

i'm still waiting for my 199 too, i heard its usually takes from 1-2 months.
When did you sign your NARSUM?
I signed mine on Feb 2nd and my PEBLO told me to expect between Feb-Mar for my DA 199.
How has your process been for you?

Jan 26th, 2021,
the process was pretty smooth, except the NARSUM letter part, i have requested an amendment to it because there was some critical details missing, the physician had to correct it and send it back again to me to sign,

Oh okay nice, yeah everything has been smooth for me just took almost 3 months to get my C&P exams scheduled.
Hope you get your documents back soon!

well i already have a VA rating, i went through ABCMR so all i'm doing right now is getting my DOD rating witch was fairly considered before by the army before i was discharged.

How are you able to get Army & VA. We’re you in for 20+ years? Also how long after your last appointment with VA will you be able to take terminal?

I ETS’d then then chased my rights the ABCMR, I was in for 3/5 years. didn’t take terminal leave. I put in an early separation claim through the VA so when I got out I was good to go
