NARSUM Question

All,

I am being referred for one thing, MDD. Currently working with PEBLO and Pain Management (already had an appointment) to get an addendum done. My question is: for the NARSUM, can my psychiatrist narrate about both conditions or does the NARSUM have to go to my Pain Management doctor as well. Thank you for the help!

Do you know which doc initiated your MEB? My NARSUM has my mental health conditions listed a referred condition, but I still have to get an addendum from MH as well.

Pain management is treating your MDD?

A NARSUM is a narrative summary of your health. Usually your PCM prepares the narrative summary.

Sorry for the very late replies and thank you. My MH provider initiated the MEB. Pain management is treating pain sorry if that was a bit confusing. My MH provider is the one working on the NARSUM (he has asked for my input). I just wasn't sure if he can add conditions to the NARSUM (if my addendum is added) that are not his specialty. I see him again next week I just wanted to be sure.
