Anyone in the Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, or Norfolk area currently in the PEB phase. I was found unfit 23OCT24 and trying to gauge a timeline for the VA to send my findings. Been seeing 60-85 day turnaround from other branches and locations here on this forum. Please share or drop some knowledge/timelines if willing. Thanks.

I was found unfit on 15OCT24 My peb is out of Portsmouth. I can't find information on anything. I am a Marine down in Camp Lejeune but I had back surgery up there. so, my board is technically out of Portsmouth. I am dying for information as well I am not good at not knowing what's going on.
Well shit you are ahead of me so lemme know if you get any word. My peblo here is worthless. Been having to use my R4ST Rep for any and everything.
I have 2 peblos 1 from up there that is my primary and my secondary is down here and they haven't helped at all for me either and have no clue how to find out anything. and sorry My board was sent up the 15th and got a notification on my Marine online on the 23rd it was accepted by the peb so we could be on the exact same day.
Can someone drop the proper VA phone number. Been seeing a lot of people saying they can see their claims on the "app" (what app? va.gov???) being open or closed and then talking about calling the VA to get a status update I.E. my claim now has a rating team or an individual rater. Just some clarification would be much appreciated.
I am in the same boat I got that guys number people have been calling and it just goes straight to VM... and my Va.gov doesnt have shit in it. so i also have no clue how people are finding this stuff out.
the number i got off another thread was 571-442-0592 but like i said all i can ever get is straight to VM.
If you try that number and acctually get an answer let me know...
Hmmmm well hopefully someone can help us out cause same I get VM and same same with VA.gov and the VA app it's got absolutely nothing.

I am currently waiting on the DOD to give me a rating for my claims. My VA claim closed 07NOV24 and I received a Benefits Estimate Letter the following Monday 11NOV2024. Its been about 4 weeks now and I have received 0 word on my case findings. Results may vary as I'm aware of the complication in my case (Tourette's Syndrome rated at 100% VA as a MH rating). Have you guys had any updates since?

I was only seeing it being closed once it was actually closed. If you see nothing on your My VA dashboard on VA.gov, they're probably still deliberating on your rating. Best thing you can do is probably call them at 1(800)827-1000 to find where your case is sitting with them.
@boatGoat20 and @Ihatethemedicalboard I am pretty much in your timeline group. Was found unfit end of October and just waiting on ratings now as well. The number you have is for Jeff at the PEB. I usually have luck reaching him around 8-9 EST. Fair warning he is a very busy guy and talks straight to the point, and at first comes off rude, but he will give you a lot of info if he has it. The VA app from what I have been told and seen really only is used once ratings are complete. It will show up as closed, and you can try and get them to email you the letter with percentages and find out before getting the official notice from PEBLO. The waiting is brutal, but is what it is. Hopefully we all start hearing something soon before the holiday breaks.

"...Timelines may be affected by holidays, but that is not a guarantee.
Sometimes there is a push of matters by the PEB right before the holiday season.
If you have information that suggests you were found unfit by the PEB, your matter could be waiting on VA input, and/or it could be back with the PEB going through QA processing.
Either way, once the PEB has your findings ready for consideration, they will send to your PEBLO, and your PEBLO will provide to you..."
Holidays are really going to be rough just sitting and waiting with no updates.

yeah i agree its going to suck just waiting. and your lawyer said exactly what i was suspecting...
