Need a little help!

Anyone know how long its supposed to take to get your fit/unfit back? Paperwork has been at the va since December, but I guess they can't rate it until they get the unfit from the peb. My husbands peblo is pretty much worthless.. she just says they have 120 days to finish everything. But I'm pretty sure it was only supposed to be around 15ish days to get back the unfit, am I wrong? Tia!
 
I believe the 120 is more accurate. Expecting anything from the VA in 15 days is unrealistic considering the work load.
 
I'm talking about the unfit findings, not the rating from the VA, I know that part can take awhile. But my husband has been waiting almost 2 months just for his unfit finding, I believe thats a little long from what I've seen other people saying on their timelines. The paperwork he got, said that they have 15 days to tell him if hes fit/unfit.

A few months ago, it used to take 2-3 months for a Fit or Unfit finding to come back but recently internal policy made it that it now took only a few days.
It usually takes 10-15 days for the MEB to have an 'Fit/UnFit' finding and they used to send a memo declaring if you are fit or unfit for duty...BUT current policy is that they don't even send a memo back, if you are found unfit they just forward it to the PEB without letting you officially know. I can guarantee that his PEBLO does and can find out if he was found fit or unfit.

I didn't know if I was Fit or UnFit until I called my PEBLO and he checked some system to see if the MEB updated it. They took about 15 days.

This is my understanding of the new system now too. I asked if i was unfit and they told me since i was moving to the VA appt that the finding was already unfit. thats less then 3 weeks into the process.
 
Hubby just got a call today from his peblo saying he has been found unfit.. I think she looked it up since he has been calling and emailing her so much lol So now hopefully we hear back from the VA sometime soon :)
