My package arrive/started IPEB review on 20 jun 12, but according to VTA no fit/unfit decision yet. Is this normal?

There are two dates to consider when your package is sent to the IPEB...the date it is received and the date it is actually "checked in" to the board (when your package goes into the cue to be reviewed). The time between the two dates can be as little as a day, or sometimes as long a 2 weeks. Was 20 Jun when they received the package or when it was checked in? In general, however, each case is different in how quickly the fit/unfit decision is made...one member posted here that it took 7 days for their finding, whereas others post 1-3 months (again, depending on complexity of conditions, etc.).

Took me 4 weeks to the day for them to say unfit. Though we all knew I was unfit when I started MEB...

How do you find out when it was received/checked in? the My MEB/PEB tab on AKO is never updated...

Yeah I called him to ask if it was checked in or just received.... he said they got it, he sent it 6 Aug and he said the checked in/received thing is for the VA? Idk, my PEBLO is pretty worthless.... I'm just hoping to get my unfit rating NLT than the first week of SEP...

Yeah, he is half right....the VA does receive and check in the package as well as the IPEB. Sounds like they just don't want to take the time to go out on the system and get the info for you.

Contact your MSC to verify if the VA has your packet yet. ;)

where do i find my MSC, and what is an MSC? i'm pretty ill-informed on all this stuff b/c my PEBLO always brushes me to the side...

You should have had a sit down with your MSC around the same time you had your initial brief from the PEBLO. Your MSC is the one that sets up your appointments. You could probably ask your PEBLO or someone at the front desk, where you sign in to see the PEBLO, which MSC was assigned to your case.

so is the MSC the same as the Case manager? Or is it the guy that works the VA side? b/c if its just my case manager she probably wont help me much either...

MSC is short for Military Service Coordinator... They are on the VA side, they went over your secondary VA claims before your C&P exams...

IM IN THE SAME BOAT ON EBENNIES IT SAY I WAS CHECKED IN ON JUNE 18 2012 BUT I STILL HAVEN'T GOT A WORD ON FIT OR UNFIT YET...ALIL FRUSTRATING TO ME AS WELL
