Hey guys it’s been almost 2.5 months after accepting my 20 DOD/ 100 VA Findings on APR 25, 2024 Just wondering how long it takes to get cut orders after accepting your findings?

2 months ?!, I hope it doesnt take that long for my retirement orders to drop ! I signed my findings on June 28 & my PEBLO said it usually only takes 2-3 weeks for them to come back. You might want to try to contact admin to see if it came in & they just overlooked it or something cause 2 months seems like wayyyy too long

He got to the bottom of it... we've been chatting. Some pretty massive negligence from his command. Hopefully he can get it straightened out.

Two months seems like a long time. What branch?

That’s ridiculous ! I’m gonna have to make sure I contact my ppl on a weekly basis so my doesn’t slip through either.

UPDATE

I got in contact with PERS-954 and they discussed that my Original Seperation date was June 17, 2024 and that was cut on May 3rd 2024.
My command never spoke to me about these orders and even with multiple trips to admin and officers, I was never told they saw my name in message traffic.
I’m not sure how I was allowed to stay in this far past my original date but after Contacting Daniel at PERS he told me to contact my command and to have them emails PERS and ask for a new date .

I brought this up yesterday and was already provided a new date the following day for August 15th 2024, starting terminal leave this Friday or Monday.

I discovered this process you have to search for the answers yourself , don’t expect it to move fast, if all you can do is wait sometimes that all you have. Make sure you get everything done in a timely manner and always communicate with your PEBLO and chain of command.

Find activities to stay busy during this process and feel free to ask me any questions. I’ve learned something’s about this but not as much as others.

Thank you for all your help and guidance

-Peace

This is EXACTLY what just happened to me at my command as well. I regret waiting to hear from my command about the sep message in the first place but didn’t know better. Luckily I didn’t miss my sep date like you did. I hope it’s all up hill for you from now on!

Yeah, insane how regardless of where you serve from it takes one to fall asleep at the wheel to delay you for months.

I feel like it's no coincidence that each time I've seen this happen it's been Navy and Marines... Department of the Navy needs to step it up big time.
