Hello everyone hope all is well. I am currently a Lcpl in the marine corps being med seped for skitzoprinia and my package was sent off Jan 30 2012 an is now 18th 2012. And it's been sitting at the va tarring officer for 30+ days can anyone tell me how long this takes and where it goes after. Iv looked at least 100 times for this info online and my peblo and I can't get an answer and help will be great and if anyone has info on what my rateing could be would also help.

Go to https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenef...fpb=true&_portlet.async=false&_pageLabel=Home
and set up your login. From there you should be able to see the current status of your VA claims. Including documents sent, forms filed, etc. Start ASAP with getting your login. If you have a CAC card you can get a premuim acct immediately, if not it will take some time so snail mail.

the aforementioned site, ebenefits, is a good site but it is not always 100 percent accurate. No offense.
BUT, I signed my NARSUM nov 17, 2011 and I just got it back today April 18, 2012. Its a slow process, but warranted.
For your rating, check the VASRD.

Look up VARSD on google..... you will find the VA site I think.. I used this Army site: https://www.hrc.army.mil/site/active/tagd/pda/VASRD_Overview_Parts_I_and_II_30_MAR_2010.pdf
But honestly I never figured out all the numbers and how it's determined, perhaps maparker (LTC Parker Ret.) could assist if you PM him.
