Retirement Date

I have been going through this process for a few months and was found unfit to be put on PDRL at the end of February. I signed my findings the same day, but still have not gotten my retirement date. I was told the date would be 6-8 weeks from signing so some time in April. I was told I would get the date in 3-5 days but have still not heard anything. I am moving across the country, but can not start my terminal leave until I get this date.

How long does it normally take for this date to come in? Is there anyone to call to find out the date sooner?
 
I see you are Navy, so this might not apply. But on the Army side we have something called a Transitions Department. They are the ones that work through your final out date and clearing post. If you have a department like that, I would advise you to walk in there. I went to mine yesterday, and I will be out next Friday (starting terminal leave).
 
Similar case here, I signed 04Feb but my case wasn't indexed till the 27th (unluckily), so I'm also waiting and expecting to be put on the next message

What does "indexed" mean? And how do I check if I have been already?

I emailed them and asked if my index has been received yet, signed 04feb, index received 27th, i have no idea why it took longer than expected but apparently after index received you can expect a message soon

Mine was supposedly indexed a week ago and still waiting.
 
Couple weeks ago. He was pretty close to being right when the index would be there. The email I got from PERS on Monday said they received it Thursday last week, and that the message would be out "late next week". Tomorrow is end of the week, soooo who knows.
