My CRSC was approved 1 Oct 18. My first payment was 1 November 18. On 30 November the retro pay showed up in my bank account. There was no indication of it in my CRSC statement on MyPay.

I infer from your info that you received two payments on 30 November 2018. One for retro ("...30 November the retro pay showed up in my bank account." plus one for your 1-30 November CRSC since 1 December 2018 is on a weekend.

If I remember correctly, there is a tab in the right corner of the CRSC screen. Multiple CRSC statements would be available for those with a CRSC history. I did not remember if I received a CRSC stmt for a special payment (i.e, retro CRSC).

In any case, congrats!

Just a technically...

A payment received on 1 November = CRSC for 1-31 October
A payment received on 30 November = CRSC for 1-30 November
The payment for 1-31 December will be made on 31 December since 1 January is a holiday.
Retro CRSC payments are made throughout a calendar month.

  1. My first CRSC payment was on Nov 1
  2. Called last week and they told me my retro audit started Oct 18th
  3. Hopefully, my retro will drop soon it’s from March 2015
That’s awesome, mine was approved in August, first payment was October and I called dfas and they told me my audit did not start until November 14. Mine goes back to June 2013. I hope they hurry up.

I think the pay hit my bank account about the same time that DFAS posted the statement at MyPay

Have you received your backpay yet?

From my understanding and what the lady at DFAS told me, there will not be a statement for back pay. It is going to just show up in your account.
It has been years since I received retroactive CRSC, but it seems there was not a separate CRSC statement for the retro. However, I think I received a copy of the DFAS audit which showed how the amount was determined. That audit document was accompanied by a brief letter explaining its purpose.

Nothing here either. Their systems were down Monday and Tuesday of last week. They were off Wednesday for President Bush’s funeral and then DFAS had a half day on Friday and shut down at 11:30.
