Calling big boy Jeff at peb - ???
Findings - ???
Get me out the navy - ??
I'm wondering the same thing. I have been calling every half hour for over a month now and sometimes it rang but the past two maybe three weeks it has gone straight to voicemail.

That was my original thought too but it's not exactly a secret what his number his. It wasn't just shared here on the forum and it got out to the masses.
Its posted on the navy website. PEB Washington DC < Link
Also small update. I just called and it did actually ring this time instead of straight to voicemail. Still no answer but at least we know the phone still works

FINALLY!!! I got my call for the findings brief yesterday and signed them today! We think the reason it took so long is because the VA would not service connect my referred condition stating it was pre-existing, however, the PEB decided they were going to go against VA guidance and service connect with 10%. None of the PEBLOs had seen that happen before and my attorney said she has only seen that one other time. Even without that percentage VA side I am still 100% P&T.
Now I just wait for the message. Should be 2-6 weeks.....

Congratulations! I signed on the 4th and still no message. Talked to Jeff last week and said the PEB should be sending the index to PERS this week but nothing so far.

Do you know if your case got sent from the VA to PEB then back to the VA for them to service-connect that referred condition? Something similar seems to be happening to me and it is also taking forever to get findings back from the PEB.

Index's typically fall on the last couple of days of the month with the message following 4-5 days later. At least that's what I have seen the last few months. I signed on the 12th. Expecting indexed by end of this week with message next week. Info I got from PERS-954 roughly matches. They wouldn't say timelines but confirmed the generalities that they try to push one message out a month and indexes usually happen towards the end of the month. Not gospel, just info I got from a PERS-954 rep.

I don't get the big secret lol. Just tell us what's going on, that's all we are asking for. It would make this process a lot less stressful. Good luck to you, hopefully you have good news. If i hear or see anything in the coming week I will definitely share.

I don’t think it’s secrecy—just old bureaucracy and processing backlogs. They handle a high volume of cases, and if paperwork is missing or not yet logged, they simply won’t provide updates.
There’s also a lack of coordination between different departments like the VA, PEB, and DFAS, which don’t always communicate well, leaving everyone in the dark.
Also, they seem to follow the motto: 'Until it’s official, it’s not final.' They won’t confirm eligibility or benefits until all documents are received and fully reviewed.
Best practice-keep calling or emailing PERS and ask for a point of contact handling the case.
