Should I file?

Good afternoon, When I was originally discharged I was rated for a traumatic brain injury that caused chronic daily migraines. Before I was discharged they did a sleep study and found me to be "borderline" but said I did not have apnea. Now here we are 14+ years later and the VA has since done another sleep study where they determined that I do, in fact, have apnea and they have issued me a CPAP machine. They think that the breathing difficulty is making my migraines worse. Is this something that I should file for an increase in my rating? Has anyone increased their rating and can help me determine if this is worth the effort?

To further clarify, on my original discharge the Sleep issue wasn't listed as a disability percentage. So my question is has anyone else had luck adding to their rating for something that wasn't originally rated?

Yes you should file a VA claim.
