I wasn’t sure where to post this but I’m starting to worry. I had my 3 year follow up for TDRL because I had leukemia. If I’m taken off TDRL, will I lose all my tricare for life benefits? I also had a seperate tricare select policy for my wife and I, will I lose that too? What else will I lose and will any of this affect my 100% VA rating? Also, what do I stand to gain if I’m on the PDRL?

So if rated below 30% when put on PDRL then you will lose tricare for you and your family. Do you still have leukemia? Have you been faithfully going to the doctor? If not in remission the ratings should stay 100%.

The TDRL exam has no bearing on the VA ratings since your branch of service is the one looking at your health to determine if your condition is stable and if so what is the rating now. Your branch could also say you are now fit for duty. Also, if the results aren't correct you can challenge a TDRL determination. If this is the case you need to talk to assigned legal counsel and in my opinion it would be better to hire dedicated attorney that specializes in IDES and TDRL cases.
