Timeline for Aortic Root Aneurysm

Kind of confused on where I am in the whole process, because of the terms the PCM send me in his email. Here is what I know.

Timeline:

08/01/2020 Main Condition Found (Aortic Root and ascending 4.5 cm)

10/28/2020 Email from PCM stating that I am on the MEB roster (Code 37 Established until 21 Sep 21)

01/04/2021 Email from PCM stating MEB Summary has been submitted. PEBLO Assigned

01/13/2021 Asked by shirt to fill out top portion of AF Form 1185

I feel like I'm still in the referral stage, because I haven't seen any VA reps or had a response from the PEBLO.

It took months for me to move out of the referral stage and I was hard broke. In my case I wanted things to go slow, to max high 3.
 
Sounds like due to COVID and teleworking I should expect a much longer timeline then what I see above. Which would give me time to make the next rank.

01/13/2021 Asked by shirt to fill out top portion of AF Form 1185 CC Statement

01/18/2021 Dilated cardiomyopathy secondary diagnosis determined.

01/22/2021 NARSUM and 1185 CC Statement submitted by PEBLO.
 
Any updates? I have just been diagnosed with the aortic aneurysm as well. But 4.3cm. My pcm said she believes a MEB is probable but is going to talk to cardiologist first.

What do you think took your case so long to go from email from pcm to the actual start of MEB?
 
I think the fact that I had cardiomyopathy with it, made it longer. They may want to talk with your cardio to see if you have something like Marfan's or Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I still haven't received an update for VA reps etc. From what I've been told covid is slowing things down.
 
I ended up seeing cardiology. Long story short i only got to see the doctor for about 2 minutes before he got called to the ER. The only thing i was able to take away from the appointment was to get a CT scan of my chest to confirm everything. Since my other tests have been echocardiograms a CT is supposedly way better.

I have my followup with cardio this week. But was able to pull up the CT report though MHS patient portal. Says i have a "Sinuses of Valsalva" diameter of 4.5cm, which i think is part of the ascending. Hoping to get a final decision on if the MEB is going to be submitted or not this week.
 
Covid has slowed tings down for sure I got coded 37 in MAY 2020 and didn't get anything submitted by PEBLO till December 2020 and didnt get my exams till late JAN and my last one is next week.
