Tricare and Ch61 status?

After reading about the new tricare changes for 2018, I did some googling for what these changes mean and stumbled across a site mentioning certain exemptions for CH61 retirees in regards to tricare fee increases or what not. Does anyone have any more information or a source for this?

I was told that if we are medically retired we get Tricare for Life and the costs will be the year of retirement. And from then on the premiums will remain the same even when they go up for others that aren't medically retired. Another benefit of medical retirement.
