I have been in the Air Force for just over 7 years and was just diagnosed as type 1 in April of this year. My MEB started in May as I was found unfit. I am at the point where we are waiting on ratings from the VA to proceed. I am wondering if there is anything I should be doing right now to ensure that I don't get screwed over.
