Va Award letter & Compensation Question

My terminal/separation date was 17OCT18. I am trying to understand and get some advice when I should expect my VA award letter and benefits. My DD214 has been uploaded to my ebenifits account since August of 2018. Any information anyone has it would truly be appreciated! Thank you!
 
Even though your DD-214 was uploaded early, its still not effective until your separation date because you were still getting paid.

You should get VA benefits paid at the first of December.
 
When should I expect my VA award letter? That’s my biggest piece of paper I need right now?
 
The letter will be downloadable within a week or so of you last day of terminal leave. You are not in benefit status until your first day of the month after your last day on terminal.

Do I get my award letter before I get my first payment?
 
You should have your award letter soon.

You can download your letter immediately when it is available.
 
Yea that’s what I am prAying for. I just don’t understand why ebenifits still says “under review”
