Severance and discharge????

If i was to persay get 10% DOD and 30% VA, and was getting out 28 June, when would i actually see the pay in severance and or va disability that doesnt pertain to my PEBable disability. Would it be on the first of the following month, or do they hold that check for a while. I keep seeing post and reading comments about paycheks being withheld after discharge.

severance pay comes in on an average of about two weeks after discharge. With terminal leave however it may take a bit longer. As for your va $ that will not kick in until you are completely done with your service to include terminal leave. If your check is with held you need to talk to finance first to know exactly what is going to happen. Hope this helps.
