VA VES Contractor Appointments

They medically retired me for Asthma from the military in 2008 and been rated 50 percent for it since then. I was also rated for PTSD (anxiety) 30 percent. I put in for a new disability in August, the VA made appointments for my Asthma and PTSD, can they lower my rating even after 10 years of having those ratings?

Yes. If a VA rating has been held for 10 years, then the medical condition cannot be removed short of fraud. But the rating percentage can change even to 0%.

At 20 years both the medical condition and rating percentage are locked short of fraud.
