How long have you been waiting?

I know we have a timeline forum, but I was wondering how long those of us recently or currently at this phase waited or have been waiting for an IPEB determination. Mine was sent up about 3 weeks ago and I was told 2-4 weeks for a decision. I suspect that is hogwash, but I wanted to see what everyone else was experiencing.

3+ months and counting

I apologize for not seeing your post. I can only post on my mobile phone, so it's not the easiest to navigate this site.

Mine was 45 days.

My package was received by the PEB on August 31st. 2 weeks later they realized they had lost 936 pages of it. Luckliy I had my own copy of those pages so made another copy and sent them up. They said they got it and started reviewing again on September 15th. Still waiting on a determination.

i got my findings yesterday, started june 8th, sent to the peb aug 16th'ish....See timeline in signature

I just got the call from my PEBLO UNFIT. timeline in signature. also they asked for addendums (headaches, and nerve damage) what does that mean?

no but I do fall under them. Marine corps

I still haven't received my unfit and proposed ratings memo! I don't get anything from my PEBLO without significant ass pain.

timeline below, my PEBLO said with the holidays it will probably be the beginning of December for my IPEB results even i am about to get 2 weeks off in the next two months. Im Air Force which seems like a total mix up for results from what I've seen its either really long or really short, but still seems faster than other branches. i say that because of the people whose timelines are like 4 months total

The difference I have noticed is being on an active duty post vs. remote duty stations. I am TXARNG-AGR.

Referred into IDES-July
C&P Exams- Sept
MEB Report- Sept.
PEB Submitted-Oct 5th

Still waiting.

For the Marines and Navy, I was told that there is a huge backlog for PEB case review. I would speculate at least 2 months from time of submission.

I am Navy and have already passed 2 months from submission.

Yeah I can agree I waited 3 months but I finally got it lol

Cargar...I'm a Marine...your timeline has me worried...wtf took so long? Did you have a complicated case or claim a lot?

Just saw this...as far as I know...if they need addendums, that will be for adding more referred conditions...basically you'll need a NARSUM and a Non medical assessment again from your command that would include those other conditions and how they impact you. I don't know much about addendums, just know someone that had to add one...but they did it before their stuff went to the ipeb...so I really don't know much about it at all...I'm sure someone on here that knows more will chime in soon.

besides the addendum my package got caught up in the transitioning phase of the PEB. my package what mailed to them but they stopped the process to scan my package into the system electronically. then there were program refreshers done that crippled the system and prolonged my process. 2 months later I got the addendum request so I had another QTC appointment. then a month or so later I finally heard back. my case was not complicated atleast not as complicated as some of the cases I have read on here. but the addendum made it complex if that makes sense. I did have 25+ claims though. I have a friend here with me who is up for PTSD and has been waiting almost 2 months.

you are about a month behind so it really shouldn't be much longer for you. just make sure you talk to your peblo weekly. some don't like to contact people until they have the unfit and ratings in hand. but I have heard a lot that the longer you wait the better your chance is of being found unfit.

I was told today that they have up to 120 days to return a decision, but they're right at 4-6 weeks right now. 6 weeks is next Tuesday and the PEBLO is giving me fits about spending Thanksgiving with my family because they "might" return a decision in the three duty days I'll be gone.
