VA rated back to peb

If you dont mind me asking what was your time line from the start of the MEB and what station did you have the MEB through?
Jessica my experience; executed the MEB/PEB. During my last evaluation my doctor asked me point blank "What main conditions affect your duty position"? I selected three conditions. End result all three were found unfit. Indeed all conditions should be evaluated but he came out and said when you have alot of issues things get more complex and it appears your complaining about everything under the sun. Though you should still make sure they annotate all conditions. Again, this is just in my experience.
After the NARSUM I submitted my own trash to VA and filled out a form on an anticipated discharge date (just picked a date within 6 months). They set me up with appointments etc. In the end after all was done they told me they could not rate me until I had an official discharge date. Hence, I waited for the PEB to find me unfit and submitted. End result; I did not wait on anyone; you are in control of your own destiny in my mind.

Any questions let you me know; I will be medically retired with a very fair rating on 27 June 2012.
Additionally there is a quick start claim process but I spoke with the VA representative and she told me this is just to get the initial packet going but it doesn't do much. Why I submitted in the middle of my MEB.

the VA finished my proposed rating 27APR and said the mailed it 30APR. i have not recieved anything and still waiting for the PEB to call me to accept my rating.
Mine was mailed the 30 of April as well and I still haven't heard anything from my peblo yet either...she received the proposed ratings on the 30th as well but told me to plan on 2-3 weeks for findings...
I have been told by my va rep here anything to do with psych actually takes longer, PTSD, schizophrenia, anxiety, etc. because they double check the ratings. He told me there have been instances where soldiers have committed suicide because they were so stressed out with money and didn't feel as though the va had rated them appropriately, so therefore they spend extra time on these diagnoses to carefully examine the medical evidence and information. Again, this is just what I have been told here.
We sure are dropping the ball as a military (and country) if we aren't stepping in when guys/gals are at the point of hurting themselves or others! For anybody reading this:
I had the honor of meeting and speaking to Gen Hal Moore (We were Soldiers), and the one thing that he said to me that has always stuck was "no matter how bad things get, no matter how much you feel like you are defeated, there is always at least one more thing you can do to put yourself in a better position. Don't give up, otherwise the other bastard wins". Take care of yourselves and don't be afraid to talk to your friends, family or docs if you are having problems or need to blow off steam....we are all human.
My ratings were completed by the VA on 24 April and sent to the PEB the same day, I have to get any findings back from the PEB. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks and I had orthopedic conditions, no mental health problems. I hope we all get something back very soon!
I just talked to the VA and they said they finished the ratings on APR 9 and mailed the same day, but I am still waiting to hear back from the PEB. Hoping it will be any day now....

No- my peblo and va rep both received my proposed ratings on the 30 April. Neither one have been able to share my results with me...still waiting for findings from PEB.

I called Sandy and she said they sent my stuff to the VA Mar 9, and that's the status they have. The VA told me yesterday they sent it back to the PEB APR 9.... So I'm confused. I have a call in to my PEBLO and am waiting for him to call back.
Are you Navy? I am also waiting on my findings... The VA stated that they sent them off to the PEB on 24 Apr, but I'm still waiting. I was able to get my ratings from my PEBLO before my findings. As of right now and if nothing changes, they will 10% DoD and 80% VA. Man they are really trying to protect retirements these days, I guess they have been handing them out and now they had to back off and give severances. The VA only rated me for one surgery, but I had three...
Mines been since August 23 under IDES. PEB received my case from MEB on March 20. VA Rating sent to PEB on May 12, now waiting again. I call my PEBLO 3 times a week and get the same answer, "no news from San Antonio, they are backlogged."

Yea I'm in the navy. I talked to my PEBLO today and he is looking into why my case has been back at the PEB from the VA for almost two months now. I did talk to a different lady from the VA today who is going to mail me my proposed ratings, so that's nice.
I'm so frustrated that now no one apparently knows where my paperwork is!

Ugh, the stupid PEBLO didn't do anything yesterday to try to help. I am so mad and have no idea who else I could contact to try to figure out where in the world my paperwork is. Sandy said yesterday they still think my stuff is with the VA and the VA said they sent it back APR 9... So I guess it's lost??
VA said they sent to PEB 30APR. My peblo rushs me off the phone and says ill call you when we get anything. Is it lost? why is it taking so long. VA says they emailed it 30APr and won't resend it unless the PEB calls the VA to ask for it. not sure if its lost or just taking long??? CoC isnt really doing anything maybe ill go talk to the Admin O....
