Do any of you guys know how to tell if your VA rating is permanent and total after you receive your proposed rating letter from the VA? I’ve read through it and can’t find anything. Or do I have to wait until the ratings are finalized to see if I’m P&T?

Got my ratings today guys! Was found unfit last Friday. VA:100% DoD:60% TDRL. One step closer to the end!

If you are a Marine look into “Home awaiting orders” or wounded warrior program. Either one of those should give you some sort of a break. I pray you get some sort of relief.

I’m going to be honest I have no idea. Peblo told me it’ll be a week before I get my ratings.

I FINALLY got my unfit for duty this morning. PEB sent : 3 May 2021 PEB accepted message: 10 May 2021 Unfit notification: 22 Oct 2021 Ratings: Will receive them in a week. I am so freaking happy that I am finally on my way out of this process. Edit: it was with the medical officer for 134 days.

Pretty much my thoughts. For something that is rarely done I assure you it will get screwed up.

Sounds like everyone’s getting shafted pretty much. I would apply for it if it wasn’t for the pay and benefits potentially being screwed up. I don’t trust admin to not make a mistake with it.

Could the fact that the PEB has 5000 cases be considered “unusual hardship”

Yeah I’m convinced the PEBLOS don’t even read their emails or listen to voice mails. It sucks because my PEBLO told me he’s managing 300 cases alone. Idk if that’s true or not.

So does that mean there are 3700 people in front of you?

At the end of the day I know I’m not the only one with issues. I’m happy for anyone to be done with this awful process and not have the mental burden on their shoulders anymore.

I just see it as one person closer to mine being sent to me.
