No I signed already, im ready to get out and move on. It been two years with this issue.

I Expected 20% on DOD but was rated 0 for my back with DDD.

I was also referred for the same back condition and it was found to not be unfitting. didn't want to chance the ratings changing so I just signed it, you can always fight it with the VA on the outside it will take longer though, so if you are going to do it its quicker to do it while you are...

Hey cobra what number did you call to speak with the PEB? I cant seem to find a direct number.

Aug31 my claim was sent to the peb I waited until the end of October to find out I was unfit.

i received my proposed ratings awhile ago and got 10%dod and 50%VA. My question is if the dod stays at ten or give me zero I know that's usually a severance check. Has anyone heard of the dod not giving a severance check even though you are found unfit and being kicked out.

you can call the VA at 800-827-1000, give it ten days after the letter was sent and you can ask them to fax you your proposed ratings. they are not the final ratings but what the VA sent back to the PEB.

Im at about the same timeline as you, how did you get the VA to fax your proposed ratings? ive been trying and they keep saying ill get a letter in the mail first.

If you are pending approval it most likely means that you are already found unfit and just weren't notified. I was in the same situation and called last week to find out I was found unfit three weeks ago.
