lol geez that’s too funny, when I talked to the guy at mmsr-4 he said they change them all the time and it was not a big deal at all, he was a Cpl though so maybe he didn’t know
I got my DD 214 a few days after I filled out my outbound interview so I dk maybe thats all contingent on command as well. I got my EAS on Nov 2 did the outbound on the 7th and had my DD 214 on the 9th.
I got m new EAS in one week. It seems like they generally populate on Thursday mornings, so I’d check today. I printed the maradmin 170/14 and took it to my S-1 before I did my outbound interview. The PTAD is command discretion so it’s possible that they could deny it. Buuuuutt if your command...
If you want to you can always call Wounded Warriors (whichever region you're in). They're generally really helpful, I did call them once to see what was taking so long with my case because mine took longer than usual. I spoke to their PEBLO and he was super nice and was able to get me answers.
You can try calling your MSC at the VA. That's usually who I contact if I want an update or have questions. Mine is much more helpful than my PEBLO ever was.
Basically. I called a few times because my command wanted updates but my PEBLO is kinda trash so she usually wouldn't tell me much besides "expect another 4-6 weeks" pretty much anytime I asked for an update.
My case took almost a month between the "PEB referral" and the "PEB accepted."
You won't see anything on the VA app for a while. Once they "close" the case on their end it'll show in the app under "Benefits" - "Claims" - "Claims history" - "Closed"
I'm not sure about the initial screening...
Once your case is "closed" with the VA it goes back to the PEB, my case was back with the PEB for just almost 9 weeks. It seems like it's been averaging about 8 weeks for most folks.
