    199 received... 0% ratings

My symptons after the fasciotomy are worst. The area (left leg) where they cut me open hurts down to my ankle and foot. I've gone through physical therapy for roughly 6 months and once my therapists heard I was being MEB'd, she immediately told me that's all that they could do. During physical...

I received 0% - Army, 20% VA. I'm a combat veteran who suffered an injury which resulted in a surgery. My battle buddies received 80-90% and never deployed, just tried to milk the system and get paid for the rest of their lives. Of course every case is different, but why did I get screwed over...

Thank you for that response. However, your comment was childish. I'm a combat veteran who also suffered. I didn't join the US Army to get injured and get surgery just so I can claim some money. Intentions of joining were beyond that. Now I have to live with a scar and an on-going injury for the...

I just got my ratings (1MAY14) and I, too, am aggravated! Army 0%, VA 20% for 6 things claimed (left & right ankle sprain). Received surgery last year on my left leg (fasciotomy) and that was my major issue, but QTC physician rated me for my left and right ankle instead. Long story short...

What are chances of being found fit/unfit?

I'm curently in the Phase 2 of my MEB process. I claimed 6 things, but only 1 came back as unfitting or "Does not meet requirements". Received my NARSUM last week and appealing to have at least 1 more to be unfitting. I know it's a little early in the process, but what are my chances of being...

ALL, I got my NARSUM back from my PEBLO and they only found 1 "unfitting" or Medically Unacceptable (Anterior and Lateral Compartment Syndrome, Left Lower Extremity). And the following claimed items that were Medically Acceptable were: Left Ankle Sprain Right Ankle Sprain Essential Benign...

During my C&P, I told the doctor that my pain (foot/leg) still remain. In fact, the pain has gotten worst. When I elaborated on how the injury happened and how the pain is still there he seemed to be in a rush to write his notes. I felt like that was just a waste of time!

    Should I request MEB?

I had a fasciotomy done APR2013 and to think that it'll help me out, yeah right. My ortho recommended that I go under the knife to "fix" the issue due to a foot drop/tension in my leg. The pain is actually worst and I'm skeptical or worried about VA/DOD ratings or being fit/unfit for duty. My...

Fasciotomy was anterior/bilateral, left leg. It was due to exercise induced. Areas affected left foot (foot drop) and calf/leg swelling. Foot drop is constant (from the morning I wake up to sun down). Foot drop occurred when running and leg would be swollen in minutes.

Hello ALL, I was referred for an MEB a few weeks ago and I just saw my PEBLO and VA/IDES Coordinator. Honestly, everything is overwhelming at this moment. I was fed with new information on the process from the beginning phases until the final out. How I got to this point was that my PCM and...
