My case was finalized in december 2010, january 2011 I compleated the paperwork for retirement services and I havent seen nothing yet. No word, no pay, no blue ID card and nobody seems to know anything.

How long was it after you got the approval letter did you receive the Blue ID card.

I got good news today. I received the letter from DA stating I will receive permanet disability retirement at 40%. It will take a few months before it kicks in.

I also called today and the board had made numerous requests through the VA for medical records and the VA in spectacular fashion has failed every time. I should have been on top of this months ago. Gary

Try not to be impatient, I want a decision yesterday too. We have no choice but to give the board an opportunity here. I don't know where to draw the line though. Im going to ride it out for a few months longer and in mean time I will start making phone inquires to the board as well.

I did get a memo from the intake unit yesterday so at least they have everything now. Has anyone heard anything else aside from the initial intake letter? Im preparing myself for a long process, this may take quite a while. As long as its done fairly and consistently for everyone we should...

I sent my DD 294 and required documents to the board of review 3 weeks ago. For those of you who have had replies from the board, do they reply by email or postal mail? And about how long did it take you to get a response

Is anyone doing this on their own? Has anyone sought the help of a veterans sevice organization yet or do they intend to? Im in the Tacoma area I was going to just fill out the form on my own but to expedite but I think it may be best to get some help from a organization first it may take...
