    DD-214 upload to va.gov?

I've seen this question pop up before, but my search for a solid/updated answer has come up short. With eBenefits going away (sort of) and everything being handled at va.gov, I can't find the right place to upload my DD-214 at va.gov. For context, medical retirement PDRL and I'm currently on...

My EAS updated in MOL on Monday (11 April). Roughly 2 weeks and a couple days after signing my findings (25 March). No notification, no message, just found out by checking my BIR. Outbound Interview populated on the same day. You both should be close.

If you EAS/retire on April 15, your effective date is April 16. VA pay entitlement starts on the first day of the next month, so May 1. VA pay is in arrears, so first payment would be June 1. That's how you get the roughly 45 days. If EAS was April 1, payment would still be June 1 which would be...

What did they give you for an EAS? If you don't mind me asking. And how many days of leave did you have saved up? I'm trying to get a good estimate of what mine might be. Thanks.

Outbound interview is done through MOL every time you PCS (or sep/retire). As said earlier, this doesn't appear in MOL until the new EAS is set. MOL outbound interview is where you establish all your PTAD/terminal leave dates.

@Jakeh27 @ImpatientlyWaiting Thanks for the info, option 2 seems to be the winner. I have 65 days of leave saved up so I guess I'll be looking at the end of June or July. Also, yes I'm entirely ready to transition, I can complete checkout in a day whenever I'm ready.

On this topic, does anyone know if MMSR-4 uses a specific formula to determine the EAS/separation date? I've heard different things to include 1) it's almost always right around 45 days since the day they received signed findings, 2) they add up all your leave days and tack on an additional 20...

    Ebenefits

This means you have a proposed rating from the VA side. You can try calling the VA to get a copy of your letter (wait 10 days and tell them you never received anything), but you'll need to get lucky to find the right representative to actually email it to you. Most of the time they'll tell you...

Received and immediately signed my findings yesterday. Three weeks from the date I was found unfit. Will update on timeline with MMSR-4.

If the letter states "so and so has been referred to the PEB as unfit for continued military service" then no, that's not actually the PEB's determination. That's the wording the VA uses in the narrative letter.

My proposed VA ratings were available even before my PEB case got to the MO. I'm talking a month after submission. Granted, my entire packet was pretty small (one referred condition, three additional claims) but I would start calling your MSC and VA reps to find out what is the holdup. If you've...
