Does anyone have an understanding of what the purpose of the grade determination is? Does this just impact retirement pay? If found to have "served satisfactorily" in a higher grade, will the higher grade be on retirement paperwork? On the retiree ID? My PEBLO and MPF are clueless...

How were you notified that your orders dropped? Automated email?

I was administratively demoted from E-7 to E-6 for fitness failures. Demotion action was started during the MEB process.

Lots of views on this thread, and no feedback :) Just a follow-up that I received my grade determination from SAFPC today. My case was referred to SAFPC on 7/21/17 and I received notification of completion on 8/2/17. Now I am waiting on orders :)

Anyone have any insight on how long it is taking SAFPC to provide grade determinations?

Fairly certain a rheumatologist has to confirm/diagnose fibromyalgia for it to be compensable. When you finally get a referral you may want to make sure your rheumatologist documents the fibro diagnosis.

Update on this post, as I just got off the phone with these folks: Despite what their email states, they apparently do not assist you until you have received a "fit/unfit" from the PEB, and you've signed an AF Form 300-something.
