Recently came across the forum, just wanted to offer my experience so far. I'll keep it updated as often as possible. I can't help but check every five minutes for any new information most of the time.

Disclaimer: I did not keep good track of anything before my FL4 was given to me. Sorry in advance.

Your timeline is moving super quickly, that's awesome. I still only have 3 of 5 C&P scheduled and zero completed. Louisiana and Optum are moving much faster than Texas and VES. I hope I catch up with you.

Small update

I reached out to OS and they informed me they’re still waiting on their practitioner to get paperwork back. Their contractual deadline is 20DEC25. They also told me they messaged the practitioner today to ask where it’s at, and if nothing happens then they will reach out again on the 18th.

Nothing sandwich but hopefully this adds a bit of transparency to the process for someone else.

Glad to hear the positives sad to hear the negatives. I only had 10 or so total things which might explain the speed of my timeline. I’ve always been a bit of a worry wart so I always to reach out and bug at least 1 person in the chain a day. I don’t think it’s made a difference but I hate being in the dark.

Same here on reaching out and wanting to know. I realized the federal holiday and my PEBLO's week-long leave also slowed down my process as I compared our timelines. I'm still following yours very closely, though. My last C&P hasn't been scheduled yet, and I haven't completed any of them. I hope that NP gets the paperwork back for you ASAP.

UPDATE
18DEC25 - MSC received exams, waiting on PEBLO response. Here's the email notification if you guys are interested.
Your VA medical examinations have been submitted, and your case has been forwarded to the Disability Rating Activity Site (DRAS) for rating determination. The next step in the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) process will be contact from your Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer (PEBLO) to schedule your MEB Review and Narrative Summary (NARSUM) appointment.

The rating phase typically requires 60–90 days to complete; however, processing times may vary. Some cases are finalized in fewer than 30 days, while others may extend beyond 120 days.

Should you have any questions regarding this stage of the process, please contact me. Thanks.

At what point can I start asking to see the submitted DBQs?

Update to the update -

Emailed the PEBLO and asked him for the DBQs, he sent them my way. There’s a board happening next week, he doesn’t see why it won’t be fine to send up to the next step after that.

29DEC25 - VA Rating portion is complete, proposed rating is 100%
7JAN26 - Signed and sent IMR/618 to PEBLO

From this point forward, my PEBLO suggests that AFPC should take around 4-8 weeks. However, since my VA portion is done and that is normally that part that holds it up, I'm likely to get it back much sooner.

Hey guys!

My final rating is going to be 20%DoD and 100% VA.

According to my PEBLO, I won't have to repay anything since my entire compensible rate is 100% without my DoD rated condition. That much I can confirm by looking around.

What I'm a bit lost on is him saying I won't be paying taxes on my final pay. The only thing I've found on it is from this website: My Airfoce Benefits (link to the highlighted portion)

In there it makes it pretty clear that if you already have a proposed rating by the VA through the IDES system, it is not subject to tax withholding or reporting.

Has anyone had any experience with this? So far what I'm reading leads me to believe that he's right and that I have good information. I'm just nervous because it's a lot of money and I want to have some certainty of the amount I'll be receiving.

How many days of permissive/terminal did you submit? I requested 0 for both, and trying to see if I'm still gonna get orders for a month past my requested time.
