FPEB this week, can SAFPC buy me enough time?

I have my FPEB hearing this week, I am trying to get to 20 years.

LAS is not on the table per my CC.

My attorney's strategy is to make an appeal to SAFPC in hopes we buy enough time to make it to 20 years.

02MAY25 will be 20yrs TIS (active duty)
With 90 days of separation (60 days terminal leave), I would need to process to take until 01FEB25.

Is there hope?

Although my fellow attorneys on this forum and I cannot comment on the actual merits of your case as you have counsel already- whether ODC counsel or retained civilian counsel, the general approach to such matters would be to request a formal hearing before the SAFPC on appeal as the USAF does now afford you a second live hearing on the SAFPC level and this takes some time to schedule- and then to file a VARR for any condition previously found unfitting ( if that is the case). And, when all other options are exhausted, to submit a Limited Assignment Status request. With that combination of tactics in play, it is possible for a case that is now on the FPEB level to take several months before being finalized. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Thank you for your thoughtful response, I appreciate it! I am hopeful that the combination of things will get me over the finish line
