Just got the letter stating my husband was approved for CRSC. 1) High three was 2882 2) 50% DOD medical retirement 3) 11 years 3 months 4) 100 % Va $4098.87 Spouse 1 child 17 years old 5) no 6) 80% Any help calculating would be greatly appreciated

So just curious why the amount is based off the longevity and not the actual percentage for CRSC? Thank you so much for your help!
