Perm. Retired at 30% vs VA Rating Question. Any advice is much appreciated

I received 20% for peroneal nerve damage and 10% for 2 scars from the Army PEB/MEB for a total of 30%. Today I received my VA decision of 40%. They rated 30% for RSD which I have in my right leg and 10% for tinnitus. How can the PEB rate for scars but the VA say there is no evidence of the scars...

    IPEB findings came back Monday

I have the same problems and then some. I was just rated 30% permanent retirement through the IPEB. 20% for Anterior tibial nerve...

    IPEB findings came back Monday

I received 30% permanent retirement. 20% Anterior tibial nerve- due to my surgeon slicing through it during surgery. that sucks 10% for complications with scarring As I noted in an earlier post, according to the JAG office, whether or not my injuries were combat related is a "gray area"...

    IPEB/30% permanent Ret.

I have scoured the board for around 2 hours now. While I see that combat related injuries resulting in medical retirement are still entitled to unpaid portion of enlistment bonus; does that hold true for all medical retirements? My injury being service or combat related is considered a "gray...
