Air Force – Overseas IDES MEB Timeline

Had my VERA phone call and confirmed that my benefits letter was sent back to the PEB and that my BEL was mailed out to me. On the same phone call they told me that they couldn't share the ratings with me since I haven't received my BEL yet, but I was able to find out that I've been proposed at...

Oh wow! I guess I can understand that a little lol. Maybe he didn’t think you trusted his ability. It’s a good thing that you have you MSC nearby. Hopefully he can give you more information soon. Unfortunately, my MSC works from home and has not been the best communicator over my entire...

Have you checked your VA.go website? When I check the app, I see nothing. However, I just checked the VA.gov website and it shows that my claim has just been closed and that the BEL is ready. I have my VERA phone call less than 2 hours from now so I'm hoping to get my BEL emailed to me or at...

I’m in the same boat. I have a call today and Thursday with VERA. The last news that I had was that a rater was working on my claim as of 06 March

Have you heard anything back about your case? My case was also assigned a rater on the 21st. However, during my VERA appointment on 04 March I was told that my initial claim form was never uploaded. It's since been resolved and I'm hoping for the proposed ratings to come sometime this week. It...

The VA has internal suspenses in order to keep your claim moving. I believe their internal suspense states that they need to provide the PEB your proposed rating within 15 calendar days of receipt of request from a PEB for a proposed rating decision. They must also set a claim level suspense...

Air Force – Overseas IDES MEB Timeline

Hey there, I haven’t received my rating yet unfortunately. I should be receiving it soon. Although, based on the CFR 38 criteria and my DBQ, I should be receiving 60%. There is a very good chance of retirement / separation with Chronic Autoimmune Urticaria. As I understand, it’s a boardable...

Air Force – Overseas IDES MEB Timeline

Just had my second VERA phone call. I scheduled a phone call with the regional office that my claim was at and received more information than the first VERA phone call. It looks like my assigned MSC never uploaded my 21-526EZ so the rater could only review my claim, not come up with the...

    MAFB Timeline(AD)

To know if you’re “unofficially” found unfit, you can reach out to your PEBLO and ask if your claim is “Pending DRAS”. This means that the IPEB has received your case and will send it to the VA to be assigned ratings. Once the VA sends it back and the IPEB applies it, they will send paperwork...

The good news is that you should find out here soon. I also have two chronic decisions so I’m hopeful that everything will play out well. With your claim being closed, Definitely schedule a call with VERA. You can most likely schedule a call for sometime tomorrow. They should be able to give...

I’m not in that big of a rush either, just waiting to take a peak at my ratings so that I know if I want to file for the one time VA reconsideration or not. Hopefully you’ll find out more news soon!

I would take that as progress! Usually you can’t see anything on an IDES claim until after it closes. I checked the VA website and app, but don’t see anything for my case. Luckily, I managed to snag a VERA appointment today to check my status. Hopefully my timeline matches the same as yours...

Newest update: AFPC seems to be working fast during IPEB stage. My MEB case was submitted on 06 Feb, MyFSS email received on 07 Feb, and 11 Feb “Pending DRAS” according to my PEBLO. On 20 February, I called the VA 1-800 number and asked a representative for some information on my case. The lady...

They do it for other reasons such as having a DOS or DEROS within 6 months. With an expedite memorandum, the timeline shortens quite a bit. Although, I've seen on here that some people get lucky and have their cases pushed through pretty fast without the memorandum while others have to be med hold.

Did any of you have an expedite memorandum pushed up with your case? It's interesting how some cases are processed faster than others, even without an expedite memo or additions being made to the packages.

Did you get your first myFSS email on the 6th or the 7th of February? I received mine on 7 February and still have yet to hear anything back. When I call the VA, they say that they haven't heard anything from the IPEB.
