Yeah, im chilling on 70 days of leave right now. That's why I have been asking around trying to see about how long they push your retirement/separation date after you get your orders because I kinda wanna burn some of this leave.

Mr. Perry, Recently I just got my C and P exams back from QTC for my MEB and he seems to not only contradict himself, but he also states things that are not accurate. I have a condition called POTS and it seems as though the examiner rated it analogously under the METs scale. Even though I told...

    Unfavorable C&P Exam

I was recommended to fill a VA Form 21-4138 and identify all discrepancies found and then write a statement about how its wrong and attach medical records. What I did was as follows: Fill out VA Form 21 4138 and quote the areas the examiner got wrong verbatim listing the section it falls under...

Yeah i was gonna do LDES for that same reason, but I found a job in county government that pays really well and theyre going to wait. Im kinda glad that I went IDES because after I got my C and P exams back they tried to screw me over. They overlooked a bunch of things and wrote things that I...

    MEB Help

Yes, I have Hyperadrenergic Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome which doesnt have a VASRD code so they have to rate it analogously which they chose to rate it under the METS scale.

    MEB Help

The only issue with this is that they make it seem like we can't challenge anything until we get the initial results back from the IPEB.

    MEB Help

It doesnt make sense to me. How are they to rate my referred condition if there is no box checked and he just writes a comment that says "Veteran states during episodes it can be hard to function." Also it makes no sense when he didnt mark any symptoms in the check boxes, but in the comments he...

I was just rated recently on interview METs as well and the interviewer marked other and said I dont experience symptoms from exertion even though I told him I do from walking with my family, playing with my kids and sexual activity. He also didnt mark a METS section, but under Functional Impact...

    My IDES Timeline

You shouldnt have to worry too much about being found fit....its pretty rare once you get to the IDES phase. 1/10 chance and from what I heard its people who want to stay and are fighting hard using their chain of command/begging their doctor.

    POTS C&P Concerns

So I recently got my DBQs back and was looking over them for my claimed/MEB referred condition of POTS. On the DBQ the examiner seemed to rate a portion of my POTS under METS but when filling out the form he seemed to contradict himself. For example, in the METS section he wrote symptoms during...

Unfortunately you will need the retiree status to get the tricare for you or your dependents. If you get separated your referred condition and any claimed swrvuce connected VA conditions will be covered for treatment by the VA. In the IDES process you get appeals for your ratings.
